What responsible gaming means at hbbd
At hbbd, gambling is entertainment. It is not a way to earn income, solve financial pressure, or recover money you have already lost. The hbbd responsible gaming policy exists to keep it that way — a fun, controlled activity with clear boundaries.
Every account holder on hbbd must be 18 years old or older. This is non-negotiable. hbbd reserves the right to request age verification at any point and will suspend any account where the holder cannot confirm they meet this requirement.
hbbd also recognises that some players can develop unhealthy habits around gambling. The tools and information below are here to help you stay in control — or step back entirely if you need to.
Tools you can use right now
hbbd provides several account-level controls. You do not need to contact support to use most of them — they are available inside your account settings once you log in.
| Tool | What it does | How to activate |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit Limit | Set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on how much you can deposit into your hbbd account. | Account Settings → Limits |
| Session Reminder | hbbd sends you an alert after a set time (30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours) so you are aware of how long you have been playing. | Account Settings → Session Time |
| Loss Limit | Cap total losses per day or per week. Once reached, bets are declined until the period resets. | Account Settings → Limits |
| Cool-off Period | Pause your account for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. You can log in to view balance but cannot deposit or bet. | Contact Live Chat or email [email protected] |
| Self-Exclusion | Close your hbbd account for a minimum of 6 months. hbbd will also suppress any marketing to your contact details. | See the steps below |
Lowering a deposit or loss limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit has a 72-hour waiting period — this is intentional, to give you time to reconsider.
Signs that gambling may be a problem
Problem gambling does not always look dramatic. It can start quietly. These are common patterns that suggest gambling has moved from entertainment to something harder to manage.
- Chasing losses — placing bigger bets to win back money you have lost in the same session or previous sessions.
- Gambling with money earmarked for bills, rent, groceries, or family needs.
- Lying to family members about how much time or money you spend on gambling.
- Feeling anxious, restless, or irritable when you try to cut back or stop.
- Gambling to escape stress, loneliness, or other difficult feelings rather than for entertainment.
- Continuing to gamble even after deciding to stop — or returning sooner than you planned.
- Borrowing money, selling belongings, or missing repayments as a direct result of gambling losses.
If two or more of the above feel familiar, please use one of hbbd's limit tools or consider a cool-off period. If four or more apply, self-exclusion is a serious option worth taking.
How to request self-exclusion
Self-exclusion on hbbd is a minimum 6-month block on your account. During this period you cannot deposit, bet, claim bonuses, or receive promotional messages from hbbd. At the end of the period, re-opening your account requires a deliberate written request — it does not happen automatically.
- Contact hbbd support directly Start a Live Chat session or send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request". Do not use the in-app settings for this — it requires a manual verification step.
- Confirm your identity The support agent will ask for your registered phone number or email address to locate the account. No NID or document is needed at this stage.
- Choose the exclusion length The minimum is 6 months. You can also choose 12 months, 24 months, or indefinite exclusion. hbbd recommends choosing a period that feels long enough to genuinely reset your habits.
- Receive confirmation hbbd will send a written confirmation to your registered email within 2 hours. Your account will be suspended and all pending bonus credits will be cancelled. Any real-money balance will be returned via your original payment method (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or Upay).
- Block access on your device hbbd strongly suggests also using your Android device's built-in app restriction or screen time features to block access to hbbd and similar apps while your exclusion is active.
Keeping minors off hbbd
hbbd only accepts players who are 18 or older. If you share a device or mobile number with family members who are under 18, you are responsible for making sure they cannot access your hbbd account. Practical steps:
- Use a unique PIN or fingerprint lock on your phone, separate from any shared unlock method.
- Log out of your hbbd account when you are not actively using it.
- Do not store your login password in a shared browser profile or notes app.
- If a minor has accessed your account, contact hbbd immediately at [email protected]. Any deposits or bets placed by a minor will be investigated and the account suspended pending review.
hbbd may also request proof of age at any time as part of KYC (Know Your Customer) checks. Acceptable documents are a National ID Card (NID), Passport, or Driving Licence. If age verification fails, the account is permanently closed and any balance is forfeited.
